Porn Valley- I spoke to Rob Rotten Monday morning. Rotten did this movie at the Tuxford house called Swallow My Children which featured 15 blowjob scenes shot over two days.

I tell Rotten this is an endearing, truly heartwarming title.

"I think it's the best comeback movie I could ever come up with," he laughs. "Actually it's pretty funny because a lot of people are getting pissed by the title." Rotten states that he began with a cast list knowing it meant nothing for potential cancellations.

"And everything else got made up on the spot- I had a lot of fun with that because it looks funnier on video and spontaneous. In one instance we had Rick Masters on top of a cliff throwing garbage cans at Sasha Grey. Just weird stuff like that."

I ask Rotten about another story I heard that there were some flareups on the set.

Rotten concededs that there were some pressure issues because with 15 scenes, you tend to lose a lot of people. But Rotten would neither confirm nor deny a story I heard about his production manager blowing up and throwing chairs.

The production manager was Johnny Thrust, and, under any circumstances I would have found this hard to believe, having been on enough sets to see how composed and organized Thrust generally is.

In one instance I was told Jim Powers asked Johnny to get him a Diet Mountain Dew and he came back with a regular Mountain Dew. And Jim said he didn't want it. Johnny then supposedly got pissed and ran into the office and started slamming his head on the desk in there.

According to what I was also told, Johnny supposedly ran down the Tuxford driveway which is a huge driveway in some kind of fit. And the same night, Thrust was supposed to have been pissed off because he didn't get to do a scene. So he jumped in his car, speeds down the driveway and all of a sudden you hear the tires screech. Thrust almost ran over the neighbor's dog. Then he gets out of his car and starts screaming at the owner of the dog that he shouldn't let his dog out in the street, then he takes off.

Like I said, Rotten's neither yay or nay on this story but says this: "I don't know if you had a chance to check out the AVN article but even Mike Also is saying that Johnny was showing signs of cracking. And he [Albo] was there on the first day in the morning."

Rotten also suspects that this is going to be a pretty busy summer for him with Metro asking for a treatment of a feature to be shot in late July or early August.

"I have a bunch of movies in mind and I'm trying to decide which one I want to do," he says. "But I'm leaning very heavily towards doing Porn of the Dead 2 and it would be called Porn of the Dead 2: Fucking More Dead Than Before. I had a lot of fun shooting the first one. I love zombie movies. I think that's going to be my next move."

I noticed that Rotten was interviewed by some radio show Sunday night.

"That was kind of weird," he says. "They contacted me through MySpace and asked me to do an interview. I said sure. I never heard of the people. They seemed like nice people. They're from Indianapolis of all places so I don't know how tied into the porn world they really are."

In a year that he took off from the business, Rotten notes that he has a real world job.

"I went back and was concentrating on that- I'm a union electrician in San Francisco," he says. "I was doing some pretty big jobs on high rises. It was really cool to be part of that. Secondly, I've always been for a long time into Super Bikes and started racing them. I did fairly well- that's been a lot of fun."

Rotten states that he'd like to balance all three diversions and keep the porn gig going.

"It seems like a lot but I think I can do it all," he adds. Rotten says everyone knows what he does in porn.

"It's funny- you get special treatment from some, but the most annoying thing is someone coming up to you every day, hey, how about shooting me in a movie? I just laugh and blow 'em off. But then it's funny because people also have these ideas about doing a porn movie and then you hear how bad they are. No wonder why they're in construction. I'm not saying I'm an Einstein- I didn't make it through my freshman year of high school but it's are you serious? Some of the ideas are just horrendous. But it is a great place to mumble ideas to people- certain friends who are completely detached from the bsuiness- and see what their reactions are."

"I remember coming up with the Swallow my Children title and mumbling that to someone," Rotten continues. "And the dude, I thought he was going to piss his pants, he was laughing so hard. Immediately I knew it was gold."

Rotten goes on to say he and Jim Powers have already shot the first scene of another movie, "Little Runaway 2." Rotten says the first movie put him on the map.

"This is going to be an amazing project- it's something we're going to shoot here, there and everywhere. It's not going to be a normal porno shoot. We're going to throw our own mock show and bring in all these big name punk bands. We're going to have a lot of fun with it and I'm very excited about it."

"Realistically, we had talked about getting it out this summer, but neither one of us are in a big hurry. We'd rather make it an amazing project." The original movie came out from Multimedia/Notorious.

"Only it's definitely not going back to that," states Rotten. "That's the one thing we're 100% agreed on. As in movie ideas we're going back and forth but we're agreed it's not going back to Multimedia. For reasons of the past." He laughs.

Rotten is also putting some finishing touches on a movie he owns titled Bong Load Girls.

"It's all stoner chicks," he says. "It's hilarious. My thing is vignettes and I love humor. Combining the stoner chicks and the stoner guys and all the ridiculous things I normally do, it's a really good movie and I'm very happy with it." The cast includes Kat, Jaime Elle and some chick whose name Rotten can't remember.

"They all blend together," he observes. "I think it was Kylie Love-Cox or something like that. Then there was this new girl who's absolutely fuckin' gorgeous. Her name is Daisy Tanks. She's this little punnk-rock chick. Her first actial scene ever was in Swallow My Children. And she's going to be in Little Runaway 2. She is definitely someone to look out for."

In addition Rotten performed in a scene for Hustler's Barely Legal 75th edition.

"It was awesome to work for Erica again," says Rotten. "I haven't seen her in awhile. I did a scene with Faye Runaway and Bad Ass Frank told her that he would kick her out of his house and never get her any work if she did a scene with me or worked for me because I was a heroin addict and would try to steal her. I thought that pretty awesome. And then I guess Donny Long jumped into that, too, and said he would never get her work."

According to what he was told by Faye Runaway, Bad Ass Frank also said Rotten was diseased.

"I think what it comes down to is tattoo-envy," muses Rotten. "He's a smaller guy, has less tattoos and a smaller penis. He gets jealous. That's the nature of the beast. I thought that was really funny and she told him, fuck you, I want to work with the guy. And she ended up doing the scene. It's hilarious. You leave for a year, come back and it's the same drama right where you left it."

Rotten also notes that Kurt Lockwood has been begging Reagan Reese, a girl Rotten brought into the business for a movie titled, Scurvy Girls, to fuck him in the ass.

"He was all bummed out that it didn't work out," states Rotten.

Rotten says in Scurvy Girls 2 [just out from Metro], he does "a total rip" on Dick Tracey and Tracey's lumberjack gangbang.

"He's in the movie and it' so funny- typed letters are going across the screen and Dick Tracey's saying, 'Oh my God, they found the tapes, they found the tapes!'"

"I kept making him say that and he asked me why I did. In post production we made it seem like these disturbing tapes were found and could best be described that hairy man ass lumberjacks were in it. And it brings up a shot of Dick Tracey saying if anyone's seen this guy he's wanted for questioning. It's fucking classic."
